1. 462 cities will hold mayoral elections in 2001. 
2. Two Governors and three State Legislatures are up for election
3. There will be many other local elections including city councils, town councils and presidents, judicial seats, school boards and numerous other board elections.

2004 - Former Nebraska Sen. Bob Kerrey, a presidential candidate in 1992
and now head of New School University might still be interested.
