Vice President Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communications is seeking VP level candidate for our Washington, D.C., office. Qualified individuals will have a solid understanding of public affairs, crisis, corporate communication issues, objectives and strategies; experience managing senior level client relationships; senior traditional and/or new media relations experience with a broad range of industry contacts; excellent writing skills; a minimum of 10 years of directly related experience; and a BA/BS degree. Federal Affairs Lobbyist The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) currently has an opening for a federal affairs lobbyist. This job will be responsible for designing and implementing legislative and regulatory strategies to advance NAMIC’s agenda. The well-qualified candidate will have a highly collaborative work style and must demonstrate an ability to manage complex assignments designed to achieve a legislative outcome. The lobbying professional selected must provide subject matter expertise on issues related to property-casualty insurers. Prior experience in establishing and maintaining excellent contacts with members of Congress and their staff in Leadership and on key committees is fundamental to the position. This position is located at NAMIC’s federal affairs department in Washington, D.C., reports to the senior vice president and will provide guidance and strategy to leadership. Program Director A Republican political committee in Alexandria, VA seeks a detail-oriented, highly-motivated and hardworking Program Director to work with finance staff to meet and exceed budgetary goals.
