    Democratic fundraisers say Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley will enter the presidential race even if front-runner Hillary Clinton is a candidate. (Wall Street Journal). A recent Gallup poll shows Gov. O'Malley with 9% name recognition and Hillary Clinton with 84% name recognition.

    FL Watch - Florida Primary – Former Republican Governor Charlie Crist , now a Democrat, is expected to win the FL Primary and face Governor Rick Scott (R).  The accusations and charges have already begun.  This will be an expensive campaign.

    NH Watch former MA Sen. Scott Brown (R) is closing in on incumbent Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D) Recent WMUR/UNH survey – puts Shaheen at 46% to Brown at 44%.  Brown must first win the Sept. 9th Primary.  He has a significant lead against former Sen. Bob Smith (R) and former St. Sen. Jim Rubens.  (Real Clear Politics)

    AK - Watch the AK Senate Primary today: Sen. Mark Begich (D) elected in 2008, is vulnerable. He won his seat when Sen. Ted Stevens (R) was found guilty of federal corruption charges 8 days before the general election.  The 3 Republicans running in the Republican primary are strong contenders:  former AK Atty General Dan Sullivan, Lt. Gov Mead Treadwell and Fairbanks Atty Joe Miller.

Jason Carter (D), grandson of the former President, is running a strong campaign against the incumbent Governor Nathan Deal (R).  The Demographics in Georgia are changing - 1/2 of the newly registered voters are non-White and voting Democratic. In 2000, Georgia was 72% White. Today is a 59%.
