    FL - Curt Clawson (R) won the special election in the 19th CD to replace ex Rep. Trey Radel (R). He will face April Freeman (D) in the June 24th Special Election. Clawson, who won with 38% of the vote, was self financed, loaning his campaign 2.65 million. This is a Safe Republican district. (Roll Call)

    GA - Open Senate – May 20th Primary, July 22nd Run-off – David Perdue (R) and Rep. Jack Kingston (R) are the front-runners, also Rep. Paul Broun (R), Rep. Phil Gingrey (R), ex Sec of State Karen Handel (R), Art Gardner (R).  Highly contested; solid GOP. Dems running: Michelle Nunn (D), ex St. Sen Steen Miles (D).

    WI – Rep. Tom Petri  (R, CD6) is not seeking re-election.  He was first elected in 1979.  The seat is potentially competitive.  Mitt Romney carried it with 53% in 2012; President Obama won it with 49% in 2008.  Possible candidates: St. Sen. Joe Leibham (R), St. Sen. Glenn Grothman (R), Manitowoc mayor Justinj Nickels (D), Winnebago County Exec Mark Harris (D).   Petri is the 24th member of the House to retire (Roll Call).

    KS - Recently resigned Sec of HHS Kathleen Sebelius is thinking about running for the US Senate from Kansas. She is a former Governor and Ex-State Rep.

    NH - NH- On Thursday, former MA Senator Scott Brown (R) will announce his candidacy for the Senate from NH.  (He failed to indicate a party when he filled out his exploratory committee statement!).  He will challenge Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D).  The Repub. Primary also includes ex  Sen. Bob Smith (R), ex St. Sen. Jim Rubens (R), Karen Testerman (R), Andy Martin (R).

    TX -  Sen. John Cornyn (R) easily won his Primary election against a Tea Party Candidate, Rep. Steve Stockman (R).   Sen. Cornyn raised $8.4 million for the Primary contest.  This is a Safe Republican Seat (Roll Call).

    TX - CD 36 – Republican Run-off Race on May 27th – to succeed GOP Rep. Steve Stockman. Brian Bab in (R), a former Mayor will run against Ben Streusand (R), a banker.  Twelve candidates ran for the seat that covers part of Houston and stretches out to East Texas.  It is a safe Republican seat. (Politico).

    TX - Rep. Ralph Hall (R, CD 4) was forced into a run-off election, scheduled for May 27th.
    Hall, who is 90 and in his 17th term in Congress, will face former US Atty John Ratcliffe (R), who is 48. (Politico).

    MS - Sen. Thad Cochran (R) will face former Rep. Travis Childers (D) in the general election this year.  The six-term Senator must first win a tough primary challenge from St. Sen. Chris McDaniel.  This is a safe Republican seat but this race is now considered more competitive. (Politico).

    AZ - Rep. Ed Pastor (D,7th CD) will not seek a 12th term in Congress.  This is a safe Democratic seat that President Obama carried by a 45-point margin in 2012.  Possible candidates include: Phoenix City Councilwoman Laura Pastor (D), City Councilman Michael Nowakowski (D), City Councilman Daniel Valenzuela (D), St. Rep. Chad Campbell (D), Avondale Mayor Marie Lopez Rogers. (Roll Call).

    CO - US Senate Republican Primary Race is heating up now that Rep. Cory Gardner (R) has declared his candidacy.  Other candidates include:  St. Sen. Owen Hill (R), St. Rep. Amy Stephens (R), St. Sen. Randy Baumgardner (R), Businessman Jaime McMillan (R) and Businessman Floyd Trunillo (R).  The winner will face freshman Sen. Mark Udall (D) in the General Election.

    MI - <type> – Rep. John Dingell (D) will not seek re-election.  He is a longest serving lawmaker in congressional history, serving since 1955.  There is talk that his wife, Debbie, might decide to run for his seat. This is a safe Democratic District.
