    MD - Gov. Martin O’Malley (D), former Mayor of Baltimore, is seriously planning to challenge Hillary Clinton (D) for the Democratic nomination for President.  Announcement expected sometime at the end of May.  President Obama roasted him at the White House Correspondents Dinner.

    MD - Open Sen Seat – Lt. Gov. & 2002 Governor candidate Kathleen Kennedy Townsend will run for the Open Seat.  Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D) and Rep. Donna Edwards (D) have already announced their intention to run for the Mikulski seat.  The Primary is scheduled for April, 2016.
